BE Power and GE Renewable Energy are progressing with the Big-T Pumped Hydro Energy Storage project, preparing to submit an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) this year. Public information sessions will be held in August to inform and collect feedback from the local community. The project team, including the Toowoomba Regional Council and the Western Wakka Wakka People, has established a Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) to respect and manage the land effectively.
